This 641-acre township is built around a 30-acre central park that forms the spine of the township. The park highlights 3 unique landscaping concepts namely, Tropical, Islamic and Boulevard, and has now become an attractive communal recreation zone not only for the Alam Damai residents but also for communities within the locality.

Alam Damai sits on a foothill therefore homes are built to complement the rise and fall of the topography. The leveling of hills and higher grounds is kept to a minimum in order to retain the natural beauty as well as to preserve existing greenery. Some homes are perched on high, elevated ground and command a view of the central park and surroundings.

When fully completed, Alam Damai will be home to 25,000 residents. The homes have seen good response since the township launch in 1998, very much due to good design and quality. Most of the landed units currently available have been sold. Future plans for Alam Damai are focused at putting in commercial components such as malls and retail outlets together with higher density residential units such as condominiums.
